EP04 [ENG] Art and Vulnerability | The Power of Being Seen

Episode description

EP02: Art and Vulnerability Opening up may feel like weakness, but in truth it is the power that helps us grow and connect more deeply with ourselves, with others, and through art.

In this episode, Bryce Watanasoponwong, founder of The Charoen AArt, explores the theme of vulnerability. Once seen as weakness, vulnerability is now recognized as a powerful force that enables growth and authentic connection.

Inspired by Brené Brown’s TED Talk The Power of Vulnerability, Bryce reflects on how embracing uncertainty and being willing to be seen has shaped his own creative journey from experimenting with photography for fun to opening The Charoen AArt as a community space and bringing artists onto a global platform like Artsy.

Art itself is an act of vulnerability. Artists open their hearts and allow audiences to see their truth. This episode also shares the story of Thai artist Supmanee Chaisansuk (Khun Tui), whose willingness to let nature and uncertainty guide her process makes her work feel raw, authentic, and deeply resonant.

🎧 Join in and ask yourself: “Where in my life can I allow myself to be more vulnerable today?”
